Pricing & partnership

Three models, each written down before you commit.

We publish how we charge rather than hiding it behind a call. What varies is the book, the languages and the scope — not the honesty of the numbers.

Models

Choose the structure that fits the book.

Many authors combine models: a fee-based translation, then revenue share on audio.

Model

Project engagement

You commission specific work and own everything produced.

Quoted per project

  • Fixed written quotation per deliverable
  • Staged invoicing against milestones
  • All files and rights remain yours
  • Best for translation or audio on a title you already publish

Shared investment and shared responsibility, with defined roles.

Shared investment

  • Investment split agreed in writing
  • Defined term with a reversion date
  • Joint decisions on markets and formats
  • Best for authors entering several markets at once

Model

Revenue share

We invest production effort and recover it from defined revenue.

  • Percentage split stated before work begins
  • Recoupment terms and caps documented
  • Statements reconcile to channel reports

Answering questions

Email support during a project is included in scope.

Questions

About pricing.

Why are exact prices not published?

A 90,000-word literary novel into Japanese and a 30,000-word business book into Spanish are not comparable. Publishing a single figure would mislead you.

Is there a minimum project size?

No formal minimum, but very short works are often better served by a single service rather than a full programme.

Do you take equity or long-term rights as payment?

Only under a co-publishing or revenue-share agreement with a defined term and reversion date, stated in writing.

Can I see a sample contract?

Yes. Ask and we will send the relevant template before you commit to anything.
